In The Dragons of Winter, it is revealed that H.G. Wells, the primetime version of Bert, has been working as one of Jules Verne's Mystorians for a long time. He completes his last mission - to return all of his reports to Verne - when Verne introduces John to the Mystorians. He dies soon after.

In Real LifeEdit

H.G. Wells was an author, artist and teacher, who is known as one of the "Fathers of Science Fiction". His best-known works include The War of the WorldsThe Invisible ManThe Time Machine, and The Island of Doctor Moreau.
